WHISTLER, CANADA

Whistler rightfully bears the title of the snow capital of the world: the height of the cover is more than nine meters (to be precise, 914 centimeters). It is not surprising that the Winter Olympic Games (2010) were held here.

SIERRA NEVADA, SPAIN

The resort is located in the south of Spain, and when everything is fine with the weather (and this happens often), the Mediterranean Sea and even Morocco are visible from here, more precisely the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. This is, of course, unforgettable.

The Sierra Nevada is full of slopes for every taste, the resort town itself is modest in size, and is of no interest to shopping enthusiasts. But there is an abundance of shops for obsessed skiers, dozens of cafes and restaurants.

MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO, ITALY

A fashionable place where people come not just to ride, but also to spend time with taste. It’s easy to guess that local shops sell not only equipment, and nightclubs do without lectures on ski topics. In Madonna di Campiglio, they light up from morning to night, but they also ride from the heart.

The trails here are for every taste, and more for relaxed, non-professional skiing. Almost half of the 150 kilometers of trails are just for beginners, the other half is for average craftsmen, and a little bit is given to virtuosos.

ZAKOPANE, POLAND

The winter capital of the country is located in the south of Poland. Guests are attracted not only by the slopes, but also by the fantastic local national flavor. The highest point is almost two kilometers: this is Mount Kasprowy Verh, the steepest, but also the most numerous. The length of the trails in Zakopane reaches 30 kilometers, for cross-country skiers — 50 kilometers.

By the way, if Kasprovy Top seems too high-rise to you, feel free to move to the slopes of Nosal, packed with lifts, parking lots, cable car. There is also Gubaluvka, famous for its funicular, and, of course, an amazing view of the Tatras.

SHPINDLEROV MLYN, CZECH REPUBLIC

The most popular mountain resort in the Czech Republic is located in the northeast of the country’s capital. The snow cover lasts, as in many other resorts, until April. There are two centers to choose from, Svaty Petr with 11 trails and Medvedin, offering seven trails, including children’s.

Also Shpindlerov Mlyn has restaurants (there are more than fifty of them here, however, it will be difficult for adherents of a healthy diet — everything is meat and beer), nightclubs, cinemas, shops. If you want sports – please: sledges, swimming pools, tennis, squash.
